REVIEWS for The Journey Home: The Personal Testimony of Barbara Marie Gargiulo
This Book Is A Gem Many years in the making, this small book is a true gem. It’s the clear, concise retelling of one woman’s touching, true-life experience of being in the presence of God on the other side, and her heart-wrenching return back to “normal” life. It was even better than I expected. As quoted from the book:
“When I died on that operating table, I was brought to a place of connecting our tangible, physical world with the spiritual one we often ignore. I was given understanding that every single thing that we say and do has weight. Every single action is significant.”
This book really touched me so deeply, that I will no longer look at any action I take as insignificant. I agree with the others that it is a gift. Thank you for writing it. – Maren Milton, Delaware

The Book Is Beneficial To Anyone Who Reads It I met Barbara Gargiulo as the guest speaker at a women’s retreat from October 25th through 27th 2019. The weekend of September 15th through 17th, 2023 they had a different guest speaker and it was wonderful to see Barbara again sharing the women’s retreat with the rest of us. .When I met Barabra in 2019 it was a blessing because when I met her she shared her near-death experience and it touched my heart. She is a very humble woman of God and l am, so grateful to God for the opportunity to hear her beautiful story of her encounter with Jesus. I believe that her story is true. The Holy Spirit that lives in us will reveal the truth to you. Religion doesn’t matter this book is for everyone to read whether you are Catholic Christian or not. What matters is that you read the book and it becomes beneficial to you. Thank you Barbara for praying for me and my family this weekend. I just got the book. Sincere And Beautiful Account I met Barbara very shortly after she had her NDE, and I am as touched today as I was then by the vivid and beautiful details of her account. She lovingly explains how how Jesus showed her that every moment, every action, every omission count in our every day lives. This short but moving book serves as a personal testimony that can edify its readers, offering them hope for both this life and the other. – Josephine Nobisso, United States
God’s Messengers Aren’t Just Angels Many books are out there on near death, and out of body experiences. The common thread is wanting to remain in Gods presence, a condemning examination of conscious, how the least of our words and actions truly affect others, the Love, mercy and grace that covers it all. Barbara describes well, the freedom and vastness of the liberated soul and the pain that returns to the flesh as a soul re-enters its confining tent. All these experiences, and there are many, should not be disregarded and in fact confirm the eternal realm. What is unique about every one of them is that each have a personal message and mission from God. And Barbara’s struggle, tragedy, triumph and mission, are certainly a one of a kind story I highly recommend and is well worth the easy read. – JAR, United States
Quick Must Read Guarantee you won’t look at your life the same way after reading this. Easy read and short booklet. Rob Fab, United States
Life Changing It’s hard to put this book down! Barbara’s experience and how the author explains it was absolutely incredible. I now live my life differently- because I believe, I always have but now it comes with the reality of truly what’s expected of us. I mean I kinda new – but this books just brings it more into perspective. I’m a little more concerned with how I live the rest of my life. The best as I can ONE DAY AT A TIME. And so excited for my reward of being a child of GOD! I thought I was doing good but realized I can DO SO MUCH BETTER- for you MY LORD🙏😊- Janice Allen, New York
